to relax in an enchanting place and to visit the Val di Noto, an area completely destroyed by the earthquake in 1693 and rebuilt in an all Sicilian version of the Baroque style, characterized by grotesque masks, putti, extravagant and monstrous figures and details with a feverish and contagious display of ornaments: a well-paunchy balcony was necessary to certify the social position of the family!
